Great location, friendly staff and all was very helpful. I was upgraded for the first few days and then went to a standard room which was also very good. Breakfast was good. They also have a pool and a gym

Excellent location for seeing the sites and eating at local restaurants in Istanbul. Top class service from hotel staff during our stay, in particular Muhammad Ali Abbasi, provided excellent service during my whole visit, both in the restaurant and the hotel bar. We are planning to visit Istanbul again in the near future, and will definitely use this hotel. My family loved the cats, so if you like cats, you will be very happy, suggest you bring some dried cat food with you, as you will need it?

We had a memorable stay at the Sura Hagia Sophia, thanks to the incredible front-of-house staff. Yusuf from Guest Services stood out as an absolute gem. He was efficient and attentive, resolving any issues or delays immediately. His attention to detail and accommodating nature made all the difference. If you visit this hotel, be sure to introduce yourself to Yusuf—he’s genuinely the nicest and most helpful person, a true asset to the team! ‘Caner’ from the concierge team as well. He was wonderfully welcoming, always greeting us with a bright smile. Caner provided detailed information on attractions and tours, and his bubbly personality made our stay even more enjoyable. I highly recommend his suggestions. My toddler adored him! (Picture attached). Mohammed Nadir at reception and the restaurant team—Ali Abbasi, Ahmar Ali, and a South Asian gentleman with a ponytail—were fluent in Turkish, Urdu, and Hindi. They were such gentlemen, always sincere and kind, and consistently went the extra mile to ensure our comfort. The lady who checked us in was equally accommodating, ensuring we had the best rooms close to our elderly parents for easy access. The bell boys, Ali Yilmaz, Abdulkadir Karatas, and others, were incredibly kind and always willing to assist us, especially with my mother in a wheelchair, which the hotel generously provided. We have travelled to Istanbul many times but this by far was most memorable stay we have had all due to the above staff.
